About
Dr. Michael Anacker received his Bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio, studying Zoology and Neuroscience. He then graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio. Next, he traveled to Ann Arbor to complete his Pediatrics residency, Chief Resident year, and subsequently his Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship all at the University of Michigan. He is a clinical instructor in Primary Care Sports Medicine and a Team Physician for University of Michigan athletic department. He enjoys staying active and spending quality time with his wife and two sons.
Areas of Practice
Sports medicine, sports performance, injury prevention, acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions in athletes, sports nutrition and hydration, physical activity promotion , and non-surgical sports medicine.
