About
I enjoy outdoor cycling, hiking and enjoying my family and friends in Ann Arbor, Northern Michigan and California. I am fortunate to have grandchildren with whom I am very close. I was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and committed to supporting individuals in the community and state including high-risk families, young children, pregnant women, individual at risk for homelessness, and those in the foster care system. My research interests have included:
Perinatal mood disorders
- Mental health issues in women across the lifespan
- Access to mental health care for women and children
- Mental health consultation, education, and outreach and collaborative care models
- Cross generational transmission of mood, anxiety, and PTSD
- Early diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues in young children
- Early relational health and fostering secure attachment in young children and caregivers
- Resilience strategies in young children
- Early diagnosis of autism
