    Dr. Khateeb is a Clinical Associate Professor of Hospital Medicine, and Gariatric & Palliative Medicine. She also serves as the Associate Chief Clinical Officer for Trinity Affiliates, for the University of Michigan Medical Group (UMMG). In this role, Dr. Khateeb oversees and facilitates the sustainability and growth of collaborations between University of Michigan Health and Trinity Health Michigan, to better serve patients in our community.

    Dr. Khateeb is passionate about patient access and experience. Her current research focuses on pain management for cancer patients and ehancing patient access through regional health system collaborations.

    Dr. Khateeb has been a faculty at Michigan Medicine since 2008. She earned her Medical Degree from Damascus University (Syria), and her Executive Master of Business Administration from University of Michigan Ross School of Business. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and practices at Michigan Medicine & Chelsea Hospital.

    She is fluent in Arabic. She enjoys running, soccer, triathlons, water & cross country skiing.
