About
Erin Kirkham, M.D. M.P.H., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor and clinical researcher in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan. She earned her M.D. at the University of Chicago and her Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She completed residency training and a two-year research fellowship in otolaryngology at the University of Washington and fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Honors and Awards
Dr. Kirkham was named Michigan Medicine’s first Clinical Sciences Scholar in 2018.
Areas of Practice
Dr. Kirkham sees the full breadth of pediatric head and neck disorders in her practice. She is part of Michigan’s Center for Sleep Science and a member of the multidisciplinary pediatric complex sleep clinic. She works closely with colleagues in sleep medicine, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and orthodontics to treat children with challenging upper airway obstruction.
