Alexandra Christina Tiefel, PA-C

Alexandra Tiefel, M.S. PA-C, is one of the General Medicine Physician Assistants at the Brighton Health Center. She completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Leadership at Concordia University Ann Arbor and her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Detroit Mercy.

Prior to her career as a Physician Assistant, Alexandra spent over a decade working as a Paramedic in the prehospital setting as well as in Michigan Medicine’s Children’s Emergency Services. During her clinical education she completed a seven-week surgical internship at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut. She was hired into Michigan Medicine Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in 2015 where she practiced until transferring to General Medicine in January of 2019.

Alexandra in known for her focus on patient-centered care and her energy toward improving our patients’ experiences. Alexandra and her colleagues in Otolaryngology were one of the first groups of Physician Assistants to create and complete a process improvement project that directly benefited their patients. This improved the quality and consistency of care for patients suffering from temporal mandibular joint related problems. She is dedicated to providing the best possible care in the clinic room and behind the scenes continuously working on process improvement projects to streamline patient care.
