About
Jessica Van Huysse, PhD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. Dr. Van Huysse completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Michigan State University, where her research focused on the interaction of genetic and environmental influences in the development of disordered eating. She completed additional clinical and research training in eating disorders and clinical health psychology through her clinical internship with West Virginia University in Charleston and her postdoctoral fellowship with MSU Medical Education/Genesys Regional Medical Center. Dr. Van Huysse’s current research interests focus on understanding individual differences in treatment response. Dr. Van Huysse is passionate about providing quality, evidence-based interventions to the patients and families we care for. She is experienced in providing family based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy across multiple levels of care.
