Research Overview
Dr. Davis is particularly interested in addressing the needs of pregnant women or those considering pregnancy. Some women with cardiac disease want to become pregnant and have special considerations during and after pregnancy. Other women may unexpectedly develop cardiac complications during pregnancy. Dr. Davis and her colleagues are also finding that high blood pressure and diabetes that show up during pregnancy are risk factors for developing heart disease later in life. Dr. Davis is passionate about furthering the care for this population.
