About
Dr. Shapiro earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Women's Studies from the University of Michigan in 2012 and completed her postdoctoral training in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology at the University of Michigan in 2014. She then joined the faculty in PM&R where she provides neuropsychological and developmental assessment services to children with a wide range of medical and neurodevelopmental conditions. She also currently serves as the Director of the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology.

Research Overview
Dr. Shapiro's current research interests include professional issues that impact neuropsychologists as well as trainees in neuropsychology, such as burnout, well-being, and best practices for training in neuropsychology. She is also interested in clinical research methods, particularly Internet-based research methods, and parenting in the context of childhood disability.
