Dr. Todisco's research efforts have been focused on understanding the basic mechanisms that regulate the growth and differentiation of the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract. Work from Dr. Todisco’s laboratory has unraveled novel pathways that play a significant role in the pathophysiology of gastric inflammation and carcinogenesis.
