About
Prior to medical school, Dr. Chang obtained a bachelor’s degree in medieval history at Harvard College, then worked for a publishing house and a health care consulting company, before attending Albany Medical College. After graduation, Dr. Chang moved to Ann Arbor where she completed her pediatrics residency training at the University of Michigan in 2002. She subsequently worked as a pediatric hospitalist as well as a primary care physician, in both community hospitals and academic medical centers, in Ohio, New York, and Michigan. In 2017, she returned to Michigan Medicine in the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr. Chang’s interests include newborn medicine, child safety, resident education, and utilization management. Outside of work, she enjoys music, travel, good food, reading, and spending time with her husband and adult children.
