Sung Hyun Seo, MD

Dr. Sunghyun Seo is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Michigan, specializing in epilepsy. She received her medical degree from Indiana University and completed her neurology residency at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Following her residency, she undertook an epilepsy fellowship at the University of Michigan, where she also completed an additional year of advanced epilepsy training.

As a faculty member, Dr. Seo is involved in performing surgical evaluations for patients with medically refractory epilepsy and participates in the decision-making process for these complex cases. She also directs the neuromodulation clinics, where she manages advanced therapeutic devices including deep brain stimulators (DBS) and responsive neurostimulators (RNS).
