Leann Madion, MD

Dr. Madion is a Southeastern Michigan native. She attended University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies in Spanish followed by medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She completed her pediatric residency and pediatric hospitalist fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She worked as a hospitalist in Tennessee before returning home to join the Pediatric Hospital Medicine division. Her special interests include residency education, procedural simulation training, practicing and teaching high value medical care, electronic medical records proficiency, and health equity. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking and eating, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
