About
After obtaining his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Dr. Stewart relocated to Ann Arbor to pursue a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency program at the University of Michigan. He served as Chief Resident for the Med-Peds program followed by a year as a Chief Resident for the Pediatrics Residency Program. He joined the faculty at Michigan Medicine as a hospitalist and teaching physician on the adult and pediatric wards, and has been recognized for his teaching in both undergraduate and graduate medical education. He is an Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program and a facilitator and Assistant Course Director for the Doctoring course in the medical school. His academic interests include curricular development, competency assessment, remediation and coaching.
