Behavioral health services at the Chelsea Health Center include:
- Family counseling for patients who are having emotional conflicts in their personal, marital and family relationships. Psychological evaluation and counseling/psychotherapy is available.
- Psychological Stress Clinic, which provides evaluation and brief treatment for patients who are having an acute reaction to stress. This Clinic offers specific, direct recommendations to help patients better manage stress. Available for all adult patients at the Chelsea Health Center, as well as patients from the U-M Health Centers at Briarwood, Dexter, East Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.
- Social work services such as emergency housing, food, clothing, daycare, transportation and home care.
- Community resource and support group information to help patients to cope with health and other difficulties.
