University of Michigan Health’s nationally ranked Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital partners with Munson Healthcare to provide specialized high-risk pregnancy care for families in Traverse City and the surrounding region.
Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists expertly manage high-risk pregnancies related to a broad range of conditions, including but not limited to maternal cardiac disease, fetal surgery, fetal anomalies, complex multiple births (such as twins and higher-order multiples), growth restriction, genetic complications for the baby (including Down syndrome), preterm labor and history of preterm delivery, addiction disorders, diabetes (type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes), obesity, multiple miscarriages, seizures, HIV, hepatitis C, lupus, cancer, epilepsy, and placenta accreta spectrum disorders.
A referral is required.
