Apheresis Procedure Unit | Med Inn Building
Part of the University Hospital
Overview
The Apheresis Procedure clinic separates and collects elements of your blood. Then, the blood is returned back to your body. This treatment is common for autoimmune diseases, cancer, high cholesterol or lipids, organ transplants, anemia, sickle cell disease and other conditions. A provider will order this therapy. Then, you'll visit our dedicated clinic designed for your comfort and privacy. We have 10 patient bays and a team of specialized nurses. That means we’re able to schedule your procedure quickly and when it's convenient for you.
