About
Dr. Emile Muallem is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Originally from Chino Hills, California, he earned his undergraduate degree from UC Irvine and also spent time abroad studying marine biology at the University of Queensland in Australia. Trading LA traffic for cider and donuts, he moved to Michigan to attend Oakland University William Beaumont (OUWB) School of Medicine. He went on to complete his pediatric residency and serve as chief resident at the University of Michigan, where he now continues his career. Outside of work, Dr. Muallem enjoys spending time with his wife, Stacy, their daughter, and their two dogs, Bella and Milo. His academic interests include Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), medical education, nutrition, and mentorship.
