Margaret Kathleen Halloran, NP, MSN, WHNP-BC

Maggie is an Ann Arbor native who first left Ann Arbor to earn her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, where she competed as a student-athlete on their varsity volleyball team. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Vanderbilt University, graduating from their Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program in 2018. Following graduation, she resided and worked in an outpatient gynecology practice in Philadelphia for 7 years before returning home to Ann Arbor and joining the Obstetrics and Gynecology team at Michigan Medicine.

Her clinical practice currently focuses on general gynecology and low-risk obstetrics, and she holds clinical interests in menopause care, contraceptive management, and well woman care. She is trained in various gynecologic procedures, including endometrial and vulvar biopsies, IUD placement/removal, Nexplanon placement/removal, pessary management, and colposcopy. She values the meaningful relationships she makes with her patients and feels privileged to partner with them in their healthcare to help them achieve their optimal wellness.

She is an active member of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) and The Menopause Society (formerly NAMS).

Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children. Spare time is often spent getting outdoors, reading, cooking, or trying new restaurants.
