About
Cherie Netzloff, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan. She serves as the director of the skilled nursing facility and sub acute rehabilitation program within the PM&R department, providing continuity of care and rehabilitation services to patients across care settings. Dr. Netzloff is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and completed her residency training in PM&R at the University of Michigan. After residency, she gained valuable experience on the medical staff at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, where she supported patients at multiple hospitals and through virtual care platforms, enriching her interest in long term recovery across care transitions.
Dr. Netzloff’s clinical practice focuses on rehabilitation at skilled nursing and sub-acute levels, non interventional pain management, and continuity of care throughout recovery. She also contributes to outpatient wound care through Michigan Medicine’s Domino’s Farms Comprehensive Wound Care Clinic. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Netzloff has a strong interest in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). She is a certified reflexologist and a Certified Practitioner of Esoteric Healing. She aims to explore safe, evidence based CAM modalities—such as reflexology, yoga, acupuncture, mindfulness practices, and energy work—in conjunction with traditional medical treatments.
Dr. Netzloff earned her medical degree from Michigan State University and completed her internship and residency training through the University of Michigan and Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners.
