  • About

I was born and raised in the metropolitan Detroit area, and my family has been from the Detroit area for the last 100 years. I have been blessed to work in hospital medicine in both adult and pediatric medicine for 9 years in Traverse City and at Michigan Medicine. I am married with 3 children, and I enjoy yoga, reading good books, listening to great podcasts, baking, skiing and walking. In my academic career, I have been interested in breastfeeding, bronchiolitis, circumcisions, medical education of medical students and residents, physician wellness and I enjoy doing a weekly teaching course at the University of Michigan Medical School on Doctoring.
