Research Overview
Obstetric post-anesthesia recovery units: Research focuses on the current level of recovery care provided to obstetric patients in North American academic institutions following either general or major neuraxial anesthesia for cesarean delivery. Results demonstrated that post anesthesia care following cesarean delivery may not meet guidelines proposed by the American Society of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses.
