    Dr. Stahlbaum is a faculty member in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She grew up in Pinckney, MI and attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies. Dr. Stahlbaum graduated medical school from Case Western Reserve University. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship at the University of Chicago where she concurrently obtained a master’s degree in Public Health Sciences. Dr. Stahlbaum's clinical and research interests are pulmonary diseases with a focus on pulmonary complications from cancer therapies and drug toxicities such as pulmonary graft-versus-host disease and immune checkpoint inhibitor pneumonitis. Outside of work, Dr. Stahlbaum is an avid reader, amateur cook, and enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and young daughter.
