About
Katie R. Baughman, MD, MA joined the University of Michigan after completing her fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Baughman received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Michigan. She then attended medical college at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine before returning to the University of Michigan for her pediatrics residency. During her fellowship, Dr. Baughman also completed a master’s degree in bioethics. Dr. Baughman joined the faculty in the University of Michigan division of neonatal-perinatal medicine in 2022.
Dr. Baughman is interested in research involving the intersections of communication and bioethics in the neonatal setting.
