  • About

I love being outdoors and staying active—whether it’s cycling (both road and mountain), trail running, paddle boarding, swimming, or cross-country skiing. I also enjoy playing the piano, reading (especially sci-fi and mystery), playing pickle ball, working on jigsaw puzzles, and exploring new restaurants. Northern Michigan has always been a special place for me, and I especially enjoy spending time at Torch Lake. Most of all, I value time with family and friends and look forward to building on those connections here in Ann Arbor.

    Areas of Practice

I provide primary care for adults, with a focus on managing chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. With an expertise in informatics, I use tools such as AI scribe technology, order sets, and custom electronic forms to streamline documentation and make visits more efficient. These solutions allow me and my colleagues to spend more time listening to patients while also improving communication and overall quality of care. I also have experience querying clinical data and developing reports to identify gaps in care and guide quality improvement.

    Research Overview

My research focuses on leveraging clinical informatics to optimize workflows, improve patient safety, and advance population health. I have led projects on Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based scribes and clinical decision support tools, as well as hypertension remote patient monitoring and alcohol use screening. Looking forward, I hope to expand these efforts at Michigan Medicine, using real-world data and informatics-based interventions to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
