Tracey Ann Romans, NP

Tracey enjoys outdoor activities (mountain biking, roller blading, hiking), music, reading, cooking and time with her family.

Tracey completed her undergraduate nursing degree at University of Windsor, in Ontario, Canada. Following a period of practice as an RN in the emergency department and ICU environments, she went on to complete her Masters of Nursing at the University of Michigan, and obtained certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2000. She began her practice at University of Michigan in 2001 in adult and pediatric bone marrow transplant, then transitioned to adult cardiac surgery, where she has continued her practice since 2006. Her experience includes all aspects of adult cardiac surgery: pre-operative evaluation of complex structural heart disease, ICU management and step down care, mechanical circulatory support (temporary and permanent) and oversight of advanced practice professionals.
