About
Rachel Zimmerman, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant who earned her Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant degree from one of the top PA programs in the nation at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated with high honors and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society for Physician Assistants in recognition of her academic achievements, leadership, and community/professional service. Prior to joining Michigan’s Division of Hospital Medicine, she has worked in critical care, gastroenterology, hospital medicine, and urgent care. Prior to PA school, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science and Psychology at Western Michigan University.
Rachel works as a Hospitalist PA with the Medical Faculty Hospitalist Service and on the Medical Short Stay Unit. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, running, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.Areas of Practice
