COVID-19 Spotlight: For Health Providers part 2
Welcome to the Clinical Care Guidelines page. These guidelines and the accompanying materials are to assist Michigan Medicine physicians in providing optimal care for patients in a cost-effective manner. The guidelines focus on important clinical decisions and actions in the context of overall case management. The guidelines are based on empirical evidence, other evidence-based guidelines prepared by nationally recognized groups, and expert consensus about practical considerations in providing care. Begin by selecting an Ambulatory or an Inpatient Guideline topic from the list below.
This site maintains the current version of the guidelines. To access a previous version or one of the retired guidelines, please contact [email protected]
Ambulatory Care
Due to the Michigan Medicine Economic Recovery Plan, UMHS Leadership Team recommended that the Quality Department discontinue the Ambulatory Guideline program. The guidelines will be removed from this site when they are outdated (4 years from publication date), or if clinical content no longer remains relevant. The Inpatient Guidelines program will continue.
