Pediatric ophthalmologist Christopher Gappy, M.D., offer in-person services in the metro Detroit area at Trinity Health Oakland, formerly St. Joseph Mercy Oakland.
University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital affiliates with a number of hospitals and medical groups to provide advanced pediatric specialty care close to home for families throughout Michigan, and in that spirit, we now offer pediatric ophthalmology services at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital. Patient calls are managed through Trinity Health IHA Medical Group.
Our clinic offers primary care of common children's eye problems as well as comprehensive evaluations and follow-up for children with simple or complex eye and vision disorders. We provide short-term treatment of immediate problems, as well as long-term rehabilitative care and monitoring of visual development in children and adolescents.
This arrangement allows families who live in the tri-county area to receive the same high-quality C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital care at a convenient location closer to home.
Our Oakland County physicians work in close collaboration with our team at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and our other clinics throughout the state.
