Alexandra Offerman is a Nurse Practitioner at Michigan Medicine, working in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. She completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Michigan, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Alexandra began her nursing career in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Michigan Medicine, and worked with a wide variety of patients. During this time, her clinical interests included working with the orthopaedic population.
While employed as a nurse, she completed her Masters of Science, graduating with highest honors, at The University of Michigan School of Nursing. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Michigan, accredited through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Alexandra joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Michigan Medicine after graduation, as a member of the Joint Reconstruction Service. Her areas of interests include non-operative and operative treatment options for patients with hip and knee arthritis. She is involved with the continuum of care of patients, from initiating non-operative treatments, through assisting with surgical interventions such as hip and knee replacement.
