Research
Dr. Turgeon's research interests include the following: biomarkers of colon cancer, chemoprevention of colon cancer, drug-metabolizing enzymes, and familial colorectal cancer syndrome.
Biography
Dr. Turgeon received her medical degree from the University of Rochester in New York and her internal medicine residency at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester. She also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the U-M Medical Center. Her special research interests include colon cancer, chemoprevention, drug metabolism and P450 enzymes. She performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Turgeon is married and has two school age children.
