Research
Dr Takami's research interests include the molecular basis of the inflammatory process, with particular focus on leukocyte adhesion and leukocyte-epithelial interactions. She is also interested in clinical applications in the area of inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastritis, and cancer.
