    Mark Benson is a Clinical Assistant Professor whose specialty is Cardiology and General Cardiology. His research interests include Cardiac Rehabilitation, where he enjoys improving the lives of those with Cardiovascular Disease. In 1988 he received a Ph.D. from Baylor College of Medicine. A few years later in 1990 he received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine as well. His residency was done in 1993 at John Hopkins Hospital, and then later in 1997 he completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
