About
Eryn K. Smith MS, PA-C, is a senior Physician Assistant at the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center in Ann Arbor, as well as a former Assistant Professor at Eastern Michigan University. A short time after graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a specialization in Law, Criminology and Deviance, Eryn started working as an EMT-Paramedic and Firefighter. After deciding to further his career in medicine, he was accepted to PA school, and eventually received a Master of Science in Medicine degree from Western Michigan University in 2005. Since that time, Eryn has worked clinically in general and interventional cardiology, heart failure, and cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Michigan. Along with helping to develop a new physician assistant program at Eastern Michigan University, he has lectured at local, national, and international conferences. Eryn lives in Saline, Michigan, and enjoys spending time with his wife Deana and two sons, Ayden and Colin, as well as competitive road and mountain biking.
