Our General Hepatology Clinics see patients with acute or chronic liver disease. Clinics are held in the Taubman Center at University Hospital in Ann Arbor, at the University of Michigan satellite clinics in Canton, Livonia, and Brighton as well as the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Patients who require multidisciplinary care are referred to a subspecialty clinic as needed. Expertise in all aspects of Hepatology (Liver Diseases) including clinical services in:
- Abnormal liver tests
- Acute liver failure
- Ascites

- Encephalopathy
- Fatty liver disease
- Jaundice
- Liver transplant evaluation
- Liver cancer
- Transjugular intrahepatic portal-systematic shunt (TIPS)
