Dr. Tejpreet Kaur Nakai completed a combined bachelor of science and osteopathic medical degree program from New York Institute of Technology and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA. Prior to joining University of Michigan, she served as an internist and primary care physician with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates outside of Boston, MA and as a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School. She was an academic hospitalist and palliative medicine consultant at Ronald Reagan and Santa Monica UCLA Medical Centers in Los Angeles, CA. Dr Nakai’s interests include caring for and doing her best to help her patients no matter the problem. She enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and residents and working with colleagues in improving health systems in the outpatient and transitional care settings. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
