Dr. Matthew Delano is a faculty member in the Division of Acute Care Surgery, Section of General Surgery, at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Delano received his BS in Chemistry in Latrobe Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his surgical residency at the University of Florida, where he also completed a post-doctoral fellowship and received his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology. He also completed the Trauma Critical Care fellowship program at the University of Washington in 2014.
Dr. Delano is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery Surgical Critical Care. He is the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Program Director and an instructor with over 12 years of experience.
Dr. Delano provides coverage in trauma, acute care surgery and surgical critical care.
