Bumsoo Park, MD, PhD is providing primary care and urology outpatient service at Michigan Medicine. Dr. Park graduated from Kyung Hee University Medical College in South Korea in 2003, and has worked as a urologist for 11 years including residency training, fellowship training, and outpatient/inpatient practice as an attending physician. Dr. Park was subspecialized in urologic oncology during the fellowship training.
Dr. Park moved to the United States in 2015 to start a residency training in Family Medicine at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. After 3-years of residency training, Dr. Park joined as a faculty member in Family Medicine and Urology at the University of Michigan Health System.
Dr. Park has published several articles mostly on urology/urologic oncology field since he started his career in 2003, but currently he is also focusing on the research in primary care. Dr. Park is interested in improving primary care quality especially on the transition and continuity of care. Dr. Park is also collaborating with urologic oncology division and is interested in prevention, screening, prehabilitation, surveillance, and survivorship of urological cancers.
