Mary E. A. Judd MS, BSN, ACNP-BC, RN is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for the Mitral and Tricuspid Interventions (MATRIx) Program at the Michigan Medicine Frankel Cardiovascular Center. She has over 17 years of experience of working with cardiothoracic surgery patients and has received awards for clinical excellence in advanced care practice and in collaborative partnership with the hospital pharmacy.
Mary achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. She worked in cardiac medicine at Michigan Medicine before moving to New York City. While working as a nurse in cardiothoracic surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell, Mary obtained an acute care nurse practitioner degree at New York University. She helped develop what is now a 24/7 nurse practitioner service in Cardiothoracic Surgery as the first nurse practitioner on nights.
Mary has been an active volunteer both in her community and internationally. She enjoys running in her free time and spending time with her family.
