Alex Abramson, DMD, serves as a Clinical Lecturer in the section of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Michigan Medicine.
Dr. Abramson obtained his dental degree from Hebrew University of Hadassah and obtained his medical degree from Tel-Aviv University. He underwent residency training in a world renowned referral center for Salivary Glands pathologies where he gained extensive knowledge and experience in treating salivary gland diseases both surgically and by minimally invasive endoscopic techniques. After his residency, Dr. Abramson served as Director of Clinic for Salivary Gland Pathologies in Barzilai Medical Center, Ashkelon, Israel.
Dr. Abramson has been involved in global outreach programs serving young children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds by guiding and tutoring them; instilling self-confidence as well as teaching the importance of primary dental care.
Dr. Abramson specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adult Oral & Maxillofacial conditions. He has extensive experience in trauma, implantology and the treatment of cysts and tumors of the jaw. He has specialized experience in salivary gland pathologic conditions and minimally invasive surgery for salivary glands.
