Dr. Matthew Ralls is an Assistant Professor in the Section of Pediatric Surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed his Surgery Internship and Residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ralls also completed his Pediatric Surgical Fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Ralls is board certified in General Surgery and is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association
Dr. Ralls has a clinical interest in general pediatric surgery and the use of minimally invasive and image guided surgical techniques for the correction of congenital anomalies. In particular, Dr. Ralls specializes in pediatric colorectal diseases including pelvic reconstruction for anorectal malformations and Hirschsprung disease as well as surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease.
