Dr. Marshall attended medical school and completed residency at Wayne State University. She received a Master's in Public Health degree from Harvard School of Public Health and completed a Health Care Disparities fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Also, she completed a General Internal Medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Presently, she serves as the medical director for Washtenaw County Public Health and she practices hospital medicine at Michigan Medicine University of Michigan. Her professional and research interests include population health management and health equity. Her clinical interests includes chronic disease management and prevention.
