Dr. Curran is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Curran is a graduate of Haverford College, where she received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1992, Dr. Curran completed residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Curran’s interests include robotic surgery, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), chronic pelvic pain, Obstetrics, and medical education. She has received many awards over the years for teaching and mentoring of colleagues, residents and students. Since 2012, Dr. Curran has dedicated her time to advancing women’s healthcare by teaching physicians in Ethiopia and, most recently, Rwanda.
