The Evan Newport HOPE and JOY Awards

The Evan Newport HOPE and JOY Awards were established to formally recognize the ongoing patient and family centered care practices and initiatives that are happening each day within Michigan Medicine. Read more about Evan Newport and the founding of the HOPE Awards

Anyone can nominate a staff member, team, or volunteer who has demonstrated ongoing commitment to the philosophy of Patient & Family Centered Care practices to win the HOPE Award. The Evan Newport HOPE Award winners are selected annually by the Office of Patient Experience program committees and Michigan Medicine leadership.

Nominations for the 2018 Evan Newport HOPE Award are open now through October 1. 2018 JOY Award

The JOY Award honors Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) volunteer advisors who have gone above and beyond to promote and advance patient and family centered care principles throughout Michigan Medicine. Winners will be honored at the annual Evan Newport HOPE/JOY Awards celebration in December 2018.
