Message Your Care Team

Communicate with your Doctor on the Patient Portal –

Under the “Message Center” tab of the portal, you can securely request medical advice or send a question to your care team. Click “Get Medical Advice,” select the physician you want to contact and describe your question. You may ask your care team about side effects of a new medication, share concerns about a recent test result, ask for a reminder of advice you received at your last appointment, ask for a referral to a specialist, or describe a non-urgent medical question. You may only message your primary care physician or any providers you have seen since August 15, 2012. If you would like to message a different physician, please call their office. You will generally receive an answer from your care team within three business days.

Never use the portal for urgent medical concerns. If you require immediate attention, go to your nearest medical center. If you have an emergency, dial 9-1-1.
