Computed Tomography - CT Scan (Pediatric)

The C.S. Mott Children's Hospital Pediatric Radiology Department offers children from newborns to teens standard CT Studies as well as state-of-the-are high resolution and 3D CT angiography, all by board-certified pediatric experts. Our CT protocols are optimized to provide high quality images using the minimal radiation dose necessary.

A full array of pediatric CT studies are performed at C.S Mott Children’s Hospital. Many studies may be performed at the UMHS satellite centers with CT, providing that sedation is not required.

Fluoroscopy (Pediatric)

At the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital Department of Pediatric Radiology, our board-certified pediatric radiologists and support staff are specially trained to help children from newborns to teens feel relaxed and comfortable during their fluoroscopy procedures, minimizing discomfort and accommodating any special needs. Our pediatric radiologists have specific training in the interpretation of pediatric fluoroscopy studies

Ultrasound (Pediatric)

At the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital Department of Pediatric Radiology, our board-certified pediatric radiologists and support staff are specially trained to help children feel relaxed during their ultrasound procedures, while minimizing discomfort and accommodating any special needs. Our physicians and sonographers have advanced training in obtaining and interpreting ultrasound studies particular to the pediatric patient.

X-ray (Pediatric General Imaging)

At the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital Department of Pediatric Radiology, our goal is to produce the highest quality x-ray’s using the lowest possible radiation exposure.
