MedEQUIP delivers limited prescribed equipment to patients in the hospital before they are discharged — or directly to their home. Due to high volumes, MedEQUIP will no longer be accepting new patients for routine medical equipment, effective October 20, 2017.  All current and established patients may continue to use MedEQUIP for all of their durable medical equipment needs, including and beyond the devices listed below.

MedEQUIP will continue to service new and current/established patients for the following:

  • LVAD supplies
  • Home ventilators and other associated supplies for adult and pediatric patients
  • Serum ketone testing supplies for ketogenic diet pediatric patients
  • Inpatient specialty beds
  • UV light blankets (“Bili Blankets”)
  • Cochlear processors
  • Ambulatory aids (wheelchairs, walkers, etc., for Medicare patients only)

For all other DME needs, not including the devices listed above, new patients should seek out other suppliers. A list of DME providers can be found here. Please note that this list is not an endorsement or recommendation of any company listed — it is simply a list of the companies that provide durable medical equipment.

As part of Michigan Medicine, MedEQUIP supplies a broad range of medical equipment for home use. We make home deliveries and set up equipment throughout Southeastern Michigan, as well as handling statewide deliveries of supplies through the U.S. Postal Service or a carrier such as UPS. MedEQUIP also works with multiple insurance providers to determine the best coverage for our services and equipment.
