Biography

Dr. Helvie is a professor of radiology, division director of breast imaging and a fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging. He is fellowship trained in breast imaging, CT, and ultrasound. A graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina, he took his residency training at the University of Michigan, becoming board certified in radiology and internal medicine. His primary research interest is breast cancer. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 publications, numerous grants and is an examiner for the American Board of Radiology.
