Biography

Mark S. Kaminski, MD is a Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Hematology/ Oncology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is Director of the Multidisciplinary Lymphoma Clinic for the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Dr. Kaminski earned his medical degree from Stanford University, and completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, and a fellowship in medical oncology at Stanford. He joined the faculty at the University of Michigan as an assistant professor in 1985.

Dr. Kaminski is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Southwest Oncology Group, and the American Society of Hematology. He has served as a member of the Experimental Immunology Study Section of the National Institutes of Health and serves on numerous other scientific medical committees. These include the Subcommittee on Lymphoid Neoplasia of the American Society of Hematology, and the National Cancer Center Network (NCCN) guideline committees for both Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Dr. Kaminski is best known internationally for his work on radioimmunotherapy of malignant lymphomas. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has written several book chapters on the subject of immunotherapy for lymphoma.
