Molecular events leading to the development of ovarian cancer and strategies to circumvent resistance to chemotherapy in ovarian cancer.

Biography

Dr. Liu is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University and a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Liu joined the faculty of the University of Michigan in 1999. She has won a national award for her research on chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer. Dr. Liu is an expert in complementary and alternative medicine. She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
