Biography
Ronald Koenig, MD, PhD is Professor in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Diabetes. He received his MD from Cornell University Medical College and his PhD from Rockefeller University. Dr. Koenig undertook residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in endocrinology and metabolism at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. He has been a faculty member at the University of Michigan since 1988. Dr. Koenig's research and clinical interests relate to the thyroid gland with a focus on thyroid cancer.
